Just a quick note to mention that I’ll be running around the CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival all week. Photos will be taken, hands will be shaken, music will be heard. It’s a good time. If you see me around, stop me and say hello!
I probably won’t have anywhere near enough time to sort through all these photos this week, especially since I acquired a copy of Lightroom and have to figure out how to make it work. So you can expect all sorts of write-ups beginning next week. If you’re in a band and I’ve posted pictures of you, be sure to shoot me an email and I’ll let you know what I’ve got.
Here’s one from Cut Off Your Hands at the New Zealand Showcase Tuesday night.
Hello, i’ve been browsing around your site and it looks really really neat. I’m building an automotive home page and struggling to make it look good, everytime I touch something I mess it up. How hard was it to build your site? Could someone like me with no experience do it, and add update pages without wrecking it every time?
Thanks! I’m happy with it. =)
No, it actually wasn’t hard to do at all. I use WordPress. You’ll find a link to their site at the bottom of the page. It’s a content management system which makes it really simple to create and maintain a website, especially if it’s in blog form. The trickiest part was tweaking their template to personalize it, but you can find several templates to use for free if you don’t want to take the time to learn any CSS.
Hope that helps!
