Merry Christmas!
December 25th, 2009
Merry Christmas one and all!
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and of peace
there will be no end,
on the throne of David and over his kingdom,
to establish it and to uphold it
with justice and with righteousness
from this time forth and forevermore.~ Isaiah 9:6-7

Last weekend my roommates and I took a trip to Seville. We took a little time to go to Plaza España, one of the city’s landmarks from the 1929 exhibition, and try out some mid-air photographs. Here are the results…

September 25th, 2009The Arboretum
September 17th, 2009Early last week I took an expedition to the Arboretum – that is, The Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Gardens – to get the dose of nature I’m not otherwise able to get thanks to the not-yet-quite-contained Station Fire. Although you would expect this to be located somewhere downton, it’s not. It’s in Arcadia right here in the San Gabriel Valley, practically my backyard. I’ve been going there since at least preschool and let me tell you, it is a fantastic place to spend the day.

Here’s one from the archives! Indiepop rockers Black Gold performed at New York City’s Mercury Lounge last December, bringing an unexpected buzz to an otherwise average Monday night.
New Orleans
May 24th, 2009
About a month ago, I took a road trip to New Orleans with a couple of friends to celebrate a birthday, go to Jazz Fest, and just chill out. It was an awesome trip that I really needed, and I had a couple of opportunities to take photographs of this beautiful and historic city. Normally, I’ll stick to just concert photography on this site, but every now and then I’ll have something different to share.
But no worries, I got some great Jazz Fest photos that I’ll post later on.
